Qaf · Monetization · 14 Oct 2026Where Qaf users pay least, by country and platform
Share of signed-in users active in the last 90 days who pay right now. Countries are sorted lowest first and shown when they have at least 100 users on that platform.
What stands out
- Android pays at about a third of iOS's rate: 0.21% vs 0.65%. Eleven Android countries with 500+ users have zero payers, including Algeria (4.5k users), Afghanistan, India, Syria, Bangladesh and Palestine.
- Lowest overall: Bangladesh, Nigeria, Oman and Lebanon have 0 payers among 1,000–2,100 users each. Algeria, Jordan, India, Iraq, Afghanistan and Yemen sit below 0.1%.
- Jordan and Iraq pay nothing on iOS (1.6k and 0.9k users). Egypt, Yemen and Jordan together have 17k Android users and 6 payers.
- Web converts best at 1.34%. Web on Mac/iPhone/iPad (2.0%) beats other web (1.0%), where Indonesia, Algeria and Bangladesh have 0 payers.

How this was measured
- Paying users (713): live Autumn customers with a paid plan right now, confirmed against RevenueCat for app-store purchases. Not counted: 426 unpaid trials, 90 app-store customers whose renewal failed or never charged, 64 free grants (comps), 62 gift plans and 17 past-due web subscriptions.
- Platform is where they pay: App Store → iOS, Google Play → Android, Stripe → Web. Web payers are split by the operating system of their browser in Mixpanel: Mac/iPhone/iPad → Web (Mac/iOS), everything else → Web (Other). 17 web payers had no web activity in Mixpanel; they count in Web but not in either web split.
- Users: signed-in users with any Mixpanel event from 16 Jul to 13 Oct 2026, counted in every platform they used. Guests are excluded because they can't subscribe; most web guests are visitors to the website pages, not people using the chat. Payers are always counted among the users of the platform they pay on.
- Country: the user's most frequent Mixpanel country (from IP address), the same rule for both payers and users. For app-store payers it matched the store's country 88% of the time; VPNs and travel explain the rest.
- Threshold: countries with at least 100 signed-in users on that platform. Countries with 0 payers are ordered by user count, largest first: a 0 among thousands of users is solid, but a 0 among 100–300 users is weak evidence. Check the 95% range under each rate.
- Caveats: this compares current payers with users from the last 90 days, so it is a snapshot rather than a cohort conversion rate. Earlier Google Play outages (store configuration errors on some Samsung/Xiaomi devices) depress Android numbers. Mixpanel's coverage was thinner in July.
